A Small Crew, Hard Trees

Expert Tree Service is a working crew out of the South Shore. Not a call center with subcontractors, not a franchise. When you call, you are talking to the people who will be standing in your yard.

The jobs that come to us tend to be the ones a homeowner has already been quoted on once and then thought better of. A pine leaning at the corner of the roof. An oak with limbs through the service drop. A hardwood in a six-foot gap between two houses on a street where you cannot park a truck without blocking somebody in. Those come down in sections, carefully, and the yard gets raked out before we leave.

We would rather lose the job than take it on badly. If a tree does not need to come out, we will say so on the estimate — pruning costs you less and takes us less time. If a tree is tangled in the primary lines at the top of the pole, that is a utility call before it is a tree call, and we will tell you who to ring. If the tree is in the strip between your sidewalk and the road, it is probably a public shade tree and it is your town's decision, not ours.

Estimates are free and same day when you call or text early in the day. There is no charge for the visit and no pressure at the end of it.
