Who this is about

This policy covers this website and the business that operates it — Expert Tree Service. We are a service-area business working across Southeastern Massachusetts, so we do not publish a street address. You can reach us by phone at (508) 510-2899 or through the contact form.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site we collect the information you type into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, your town if you give one, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the message. That is it. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, account numbers or anything sensitive through this site.

We also collect ordinary website analytics through Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser and records things like which pages you visited, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We may in future run Google Ads and use conversion tracking, which works the same way: a cookie that tells us an ad led to a form submission or a phone call. If and when that is switched on, it does not change what we collect from the form.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, to the business owner's inbox. Nobody else receives them. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with marketing companies, lead brokers or anyone else. The only reason we have it is to get back to you about the work you asked about.

How long we keep it

Emailed enquiries stay in the owner's inbox as a record of the job, generally no longer than two years for enquiries that did not turn into work. Analytics data is kept on Google's standard retention schedule. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and the site will work exactly the same.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of the page.
