Tree Service in Weymouth
Two rivers, a long coastline, and mature hardwood on lots that were subdivided around it.
Weymouth runs from the Fore River to the Back River with a lot of coastline in between, so salt exposure is a real factor on the north and east sides and almost none of one further inland.
The older neighbourhoods have mature oak and maple on lots that were divided up around the existing trees. The result is large hardwood sitting closer to structures than anyone would plant it today.
Black locust is common along the disturbed edges and old field lines here. It is a strong wood that nonetheless sheds limbs readily, and it holds dead wood high in the crown where it is hard to see.
